Greek World War One era Mannlicher Schonauer M.1903/14 rifle in 6.5 mm caliber. Manufactured by Steyr in Austro-Hungary in 1914, as indicated by markings on the receiver, "Steyr 1914". The receiver displays a crest of Greece, "Crown over the Shield with a Cross" and a model designation, "Y: 1903/14". A Greek army property mark, "Saint George Fighting the Dragon" is stamped on the left side of the receiver. The left side of the buttstock displays a large swastika (please, see pictures). Matching serial numbers, except for the bolt. The same number are stamped on the receiver, barrel and on the stock. The bolt displays a different serial number. There are no serial numbers stamped on all the remaining parts of the rifle, which is correct for this model. All the serial numbers are original and they were not restamped. Adjustable rear sight is calibrated from 200 to 2000 meter. The front barrel band has a stacking hook attached to its left side. The rifle comes complete with bayonet, muzzle cap and leather sling. The cleaning rod seems to be a crude field replacement. The bayonet's hilt displays,"Saint George Fighting the Dragon". The bayonet's blade displays a "Star". The scabbard may not be correct for this model of bayonet.
