Mikros Unique French Pistol

Thanks to Kyrie Ellis / Moderator - Cruffler_Forum on Yahoo Groups for his contribution for this page ...

Left side of a Mikros "K" chambered for the .22 Short rimfire, produced by Manufacture d'Arms de Pyrenees Francaises (MAPF). MAPF was formed in 1923. Post 1945 production concentrated mainly on very high quality target pistols that developed an excellent reputation in competition circles.
This Mikros is a tiny pocket pistol, and it was produced in .22 rimfire and 6.35 (.25 ACP). Examples of the Mikros are uncommon here in the US, especially the .22 Short version.
