  Description:  No visible markings. Over/Under octagon barrels with german silver blade front sight, adjustable rear buckhorn sight, double triggers and hammers, checkered round knob pistol grip stock with an iron crescent buttplate. The action breaks by a push button on the right side of the frame. Top barrel is 40 caliber and the bottom is 16 gauge. Writer has not seen anything like the aforementioned gun. It appears to be of late 19th century American make and it has some Frank Wesson characteristics, especially in the forward pivot of the frame.
