Forehand & Wadsworth Bull Dog Pocket Revolver
Serial number 689; .38 rimfire, 5-shot, BULL DOG on topstrap; blued, with case-hardened hammer and trigger; varnished rosewood grips. Maker, address and patent date marking on left side of barrel.
Condition: Excellent. 95% finish, light wear and patina, surface pitting primarily on barrel; tracking lines on cylinder; Excellent grips.

Produced between 1871 and 1890, most examples are seen with 3 1/2 and 4 inch barrels. Brass blade front sight and notch rear sight, with the two line address and patent dates on the barrel and "SWAMP ANGEL" on the top strap of the frame. The quick release cylinder pin also acts as storage for a small ejector rod. Unfluted cylinder, checkered hammer and spur trigger, and smooth walnut grips with a bird's head butt. Matching numbers on all pieces.




Forehand & Wadsworth Old Model Army Single Action Revolver
Serial no. 344, .44 Russian caliber. 7 1/2-inch ribbed barrel. Swing-out ejector rod. Nickel-plated finish. Case-hardened hammer and trigger. California bear on left side of frame. Varnished walnut grips.
Condition: Very good to fine for this model. Retaining approximately 40-50% finish with remaining areas showing grey patina with minor fine pitting present. Grips excellent with light wear. Action good.
Note: Approximately 1000 of this model were manufactured.

Serial no. 483, .44 Russian caliber, 6 1/2-inch barrel. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer, loading gate, trigger and triggerguard. Varnished walnut grips.
Condition: Excellent to mint with a few insignificant fine scratches present. Light tracking line on cylinder.
